One if these trucks was hauling scrap metal on the thruway and metal was falling off the truck. One piece flew off and THROUGH the front of my husbands car. Sliced into the left side breaking through the metal, the light and into the engine area. If it had been up any higher my husband would be dead. When he pulled off in a rest area to check damage the driver pulled off too, clearly because he knew metal was coming off of truck. He tried to flag driver down but the driver, noting damage and knowing it was because of him, swore at my husband and motioned for him to move out of the way of his truck. He then nearly ran my husband over to get out if the rest area without having to stop to help or give insurance info. Reading others comments clearly shows a pattern of irresponsible unsafe driving. Lawsuit waiting to happen. Hopefully someone will do the right thing before someone ends up dead due to their negligence.

Garbage hauling trailer T-228, wb on nys thruway, has cut off at least 4 different cars,while changing lanes, dries like a menace, extremely unprofessional and dangerous

Safety first! A CK Companies mac truck just blew through two red lights on rt 43 by rt 4 in the East Greenbush/Defreestville area on his way to the Sand Lake Gravel depot. When he blew through the second red light he almost caused a collision with a car that had the right of way (green light).
Fortunately there were no injuries or damages this time, and hopefully CK Companies makes an effort to retrain and enforce traffic safety with their drivers.
