COUNTY WASTE & RECYCLING SCHENECTADY TRANSFER STATION

Up until a few years ago, I could take my truck to Montgomery County waste site. They weigh in and out and the most I paid was $18 for a full truck load. Here at county waste? Every truck load is a guesstimate and it's always a hassle. "Uhh, that will be $48". Me: "are you serious? It's 3 pieces of waste plywood and a box of garbage!" Uh... $38 then" This should be regulated the same way as Montgomery County. If only I could move my house.... Corrupt business practices.

I need to have two men regonized for the great job they do , these two men has no problem taking all garbage small, medium, large, and even extra large please give them praise, all other so far in the 8 years I been in the central park area all others don't remove trash well, especially if something is too heavy, yet these two men isn't scared to get dirty thanks Amir Turner and Omar McCloud for their hard work, great Job men keep up the good work, other garbage men should learn from them on how to remove trash no matter what, them 5 stars goes to them. County Waste is truly a waste of money with total lack of service. Where I live, they come maybe once a week to pick-up trash. There are times when they have not come to get trash for several weeks. Dumpsters are overflowing and it is very disgusting not to mention a health hazard. This has nothing to do with the pandemic as County Waste has been horrible for years and years. Services: House & garage cleanouts, Appliance removal & disposal, Waste recycling, Dumpster rental
