        Called the vestal branch asking to help get into my loan account. I was told over the phone that my account got deleted, when I asked how that happens the response was it just happens sometimes and she refused to help me any further. I ended up calling the Binghamton branch and they were so accommodating and helpful and I was informed that my account was not deleted. If you need assistance dont call the vestal branch.

        The notary, (Dalia Gates)there was very accommodating to the women who I take care of!! She went above and beyond to help her and was very kind,caring ,and eager to try to help in the best way she could!!! My lady will only go to the vestal branch now!! Thank you Dalia it really was amazing of you!!

        Update: had a representative from the branch reach out about my negative review who was more helpful than anyone else I’ve spoken to. I really appreciate them trying to right the wrongs and working on their customer service. (Also can imagine that’s an awful job to have to call angry customers and deal with people being harsh over the phone so I can appreciate taking the time to do something that unpleasant and was very thankful to the woman I spoke with) Cannot say enough bad things about Chemung Canal. Whenever I call to get answers no one can help me, and they won’t cash my check even though they are my bank. I’ve never had a worse experience with a bank and would never recommend them to anyone. Poor service and they could not care any less about their customers.
