Experiencing pain in my lower back that traveled down my leg I went to an orthopedic doctor. An MRI was taken and the doctors diagnosis was a pinched spinal cord in the lower back. He then prescribed PT. After a year of PT and repeated doctor visits the pain was so severe in my back and legs I became bedridden. On our wedding anniversary I was unable to walk to go away on a trip my husband had planned. Desperate, we called a doctor that had gotten my friend out of a wheel chair to walk again. That doctor was Dr. Hargis. What a shock I experienced when Dr. Hargis showed me frame by frame of my MRI which clearly detailed I did not have a pinched nerve! In June 2021 my right hip was replaced. For the next two years I experienced pain in my lower back and left knee. My numerous return visits to the orthopedic surgeon for relief of pain resulted in epidermal injections to the lower back, orthoscopic surgery to the left knee and PT therapy for months. The result was I could not walk without a gimp and excruciating pain. At my first visit with Dr. Hargis in June 2023, he immediately diagnosed my right leg was longer and sent me for an x-ray which confirmed his diagnosis. To say I was in shock is putting mildly. The best rated orthopedic surgeon in the state of New Jersey destroyed my ability to walk! Dr. Hargis molded my foot for orthopedic inserts to level my legs and started me on sonic wave treatment of the left knee soft tissue. Within five months my condition changed from not being able to walk to walking 10,000 steps a day and enjoying hikes once more! Being treated by Dr. Hargis is a game changer in my life.
