Dental Group of Westchester

I wanted to like this dental office as it was recommended to me by a friend. Unfortunately DGoW's billing/patient coordinators (who reportedly verify your insurance and get the estimates for what your plan will cover) are either not well trained, incompetent, or the practice is money hungry. Note: This office will NOT tell you if you're insurance is out of network instead they will "verify" your insurance and provide you with "estimates on what your insurance will cover" after reviewing your dental plan. As a newer patient, I was mislead, which is extremely disappointing and frustrating. Not only did I pay out of pocket for overpriced services, I then received a random bill almost 6 MONTHS later for almost $300 even after: 1. Being told multiple times by the front desk (before/after procedures) that there would be no more "surprise" charges. 2. Sitting with the patient coordinator to review my treatment plan & future charges considering what my insurance covers. As far as their dental hygienist, Navi, she was great at her job, gentle, and kind hearted. The gum specialist on the hand, made assumptions before seeing my X-rays and told me I'd likely lose teeth. Of course I was shaken, given that I have been regularly going to dentists/orthos my whole life and was never told such a thing. About 30 minutes later & taking the time to review my scans, he tells me the teeth are fine... and to disregard what he scared me with earlier. Lastly, regarding the dentist - he forgot to send my prescriptions to the pharmacy on multiple occasions. Lastly, I was quoted almost 10K for clear aligners at this office. I went to another dental office to get a quote and they quoted me half the price. Overall, I do not recommend this dental practice at this time given the lack of transparency and unethical billing practices.

I have been coming to Dental Group of Westchester for many years, and the staff is professional, patient, and incredibly helpful! Extra special shout-out to Navi she is the BEST!!!

Best pediatric dental office. Friendly and caring staff, you can tell they are passionate about kids. Totally recommended!!!

Stay away! There is a reason they are 2.5 stars on Yelp! Extremely unprofessional and just trying to making money. They have zero concern about your dental health.

I had horrible experience this morning! I signed up for cleaning but instead they were pushing for something else... Just waste of my time then I end up not getting my teeth cleaned!!!
