1st time here. I had a decent experience. Initially, when I walked in I wasn't sure about the greeting because I felt a little rushed and wanted to look at the menu and realized the cashier/ owner saw friends of hers and and wanted to talk to them I ordered 2 pieces of catfish, macaroni and cheese, and potato salad.They were out of collars with turkey and though I would have preferred those since I do not eat pork, they did not offer a time that they would be ready as an option. Hence, my score for service. However, the food was really good, and I do look forward to going back and hope I can get a Veggie option.

This was my first visit and i had a great experience. The food is hot and fresh with a good seasoning mix. The sides were well seasoned and flavorful. My goodness the hush puppies are so delicious, order extra!Pricing is fair for the area and quality of food. Customer service was great the owner/workers were very polite. Food came out in a timely manner (10-15 minutes). Theres nothing better than supporting a black owned business with wonderful food I wish them nothing but success!

As much as I love to support black businesses. My first experience will probably be the last. I did not like anything on the plate and neither did my family. The food was overly greasy and the flavors were lacking. We could NOT stomach it. Its like the food came from a can and frozen for extended periods of time prior to cooking.
