From my first phone call through every interaction, Dr Ross and all of the support team have been stellar! Everyone is welcoming, knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely interested in our pets well-being. Dr Ross focused on the individual needs of each dog spanning from our new puppy to our 14 year old beloved dog. We couldnt be happier with our recent change of veterinarians. We had been with our previous veterinarian for the past 20 years and although we were initially reluctant to switch because we were established, Lake Pine made the transition completely painless. They made sure to have all of our dogs histories transferred smoothly. The follow up after our appointments has been greatly appreciated too. Great team and you can tell there are smiles behind all those masks! Thank you!

We used to have an amazing experience every time we came here for our two dogs, but unfortunately, someone who works the front desk was so incredibly rude to use on two occasions that it made me switch vets fast. I don't remember her name, this happened back in November 2023 when my dog came in to see the vet on an urgent appointment due to days of vomiting and diarrhea, and not drinking or holding any liquid. We were so incredibly scared because this has never happened before. The Dr. gave my dog Cerenia and told me that she should not vomit anymore, and if she does, something is seriously wrong and we would need to do an x-ray. Hours go by, and then she vomits a lot. I immediately called and the person who answered the phone had 0 empathy and was extremely cold. She told me that the dr said it's fine, and to just "wait it out". I was just told hours ago, the complete opposite. I asked if I should take her to an emergency vet, and she said "that's up to you, but there's nothing we can do about it". again, no compassion at all and was extremely unhelpful in a time where you would need the most guidance from a trusted provider in a situation scary. We followed our gut and ignored what she said bc she tried to downplay a lot by saying that we probably fed her too soon and that she's probably fine. It turns out she had a foreign object on her small intestine and barely made it to surgery due to high demand, low availability, and it being a couple days before thanksgiving. She had to spend 3 nights in the hospital at blue pearl, and we were so thankful that we followed our intuition. We worry about would have happened if we hadn't taken her to the emergency vet that night due to there being little to no options for surgery again because of thanksgiving. I called back to schedule an appointment for a check up because that is what I was told to do by Blue Pearl to make sure her stitches were healing okay, and the same lady answered the phone. I told her what happened, and she once again could not care less. 0 compassion or care. I ended up calling back to cancel the appointment and she sounded very angry towards me over the phone, I was glad to never have to deal with her ever again. I switched vets because I needed the guidance and expertise from professionals in a scary situation and was failed. The doctor should have ordered for an x-ray to be done the second they heard she was throwing up on cerenia. The front desk lady should find a different career altogether, she was incredibly rude and doesn't seem to be capable of having any empathy. I apologize for the long review, but I do think this is important to share, I would want to know this information in the case a real emergency happens with my beloved pet. Lake Pine Animal, thank you for your time, but this was something I could not overlook. 2 stars because the non scary/urgent appointments in the past were fine.

We have been going to Lake Pine for about four years now. We could not be happier with the care and love they provide. Dr. Williams and all of the staff are so attentive and loving. Highly recommend Lake Pine for your furry family member. We love them!

I was referred to Lake Pine Animal Hospital when my dog and I moved to the area last summer. They have not disappointed. The staff is so kind and considerate. Their care for my little furry guy is truly personal. He is an anxious doggy (shelter rescue) and the way they work with him to keep him calm warms my heart. They are also thorough with all his shots and records. Great group and highly recommended. 2024 One year later, I am still beyond pleased with the staff at Lake Pine. They treat my little guy with gentle kindness. He is more calm with them now and, while going to the vet will not be his first choice, Rascal is no longer terrified of them. Progress! I also appreciate their follow-up notes. Test results are communicated promptly to remove concerns I may have. So considerate of them.

First and foremost, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us in such detail. We are truly sorry to hear about the distress and frustration you experienced during your visits with Sparrow, particularly during an emergency with your precious girl.I want to address your concerns directly. Back in November, when your dog was experiencing severe symptoms, our team aimed to provide the best possible care based on the initial conservative treatment approach you chose. We understand that medical situations can evolve rapidly and strive to adapt our recommendations accordingly. We were relieved to hear that you were able to get emergency care for your dog and that she received the necessary surgery.Regarding your interactions with our front desk staff, I am disheartened to learn about your experience. Empathy, compassion, and professionalism are cornerstones of our practice, and it appears we fell short in demonstrating these values. I would have welcomed the opportunity to address this with you earlier and to speak personally with the staff member involved. Please know that we take such feedback seriously, and I will ensure that this matter is addressed appropriately. It's clear that your decision to switch veterinary providers was not made lightly. While we are saddened to lose you as a client, we respect your decision and truly hope Sparrow continues to thrive under your care and the care of your new vet. If you ever wish to discuss your experience further, I would love the opportunity to speak with you, I haven't been able to reach you via phone.Thank you again for your candid review. Wishing you and Sparrow all the best.
