Rooms: The view from the room was absolutely beautiful. Food & drinks: The food is absolutely amazing. Dinner was romantic at the vue 19. All the staff that the restaurant was very professional and polite. The view of the sunset was stunning.

I've visited several times in the past and things were great. However, my last visit wasn't so pleasant. Be prepared to be ignored if you are hurt on their property. In a restaurant while there, a bus person accidentally broke a glass that inadvertently shattered in my eye. The Manager sent an eye wash to my room and charged me for it, which was later reversed. Someone skilled in first aid later came to my room with gloves already on his hands only to say yes I suggest a hospital visit. Emergency room visit was warranted, bill accumulated, spoke with several supposed managers to include home office in Texas. A certified letter was sent with hospital notes and pictures and NOTHING. So, I caution everyone to be very careful during your stay, watch your step and I pray nothing breaks in your direction. And to add to respond to you from your comment below, you called and emailed YESTERDAY 4/09/24. I returned your call David at 2:20pm today (4/10/24) and left you a detailed message. An hour or so later you posted here WITHOUT returning my call. Please make it make sense.

Staying at the Grove Park in is in some ways an exercise in masochism. In order to indulge in the wonderful 5 star spa, you have to punish yourself by staying at what is in all other aspects a 2 star property, dilapidating ever more so as the years go by. The mattresses should have been replaced years ago, the ceiling is crumbling in places, and for $20 you too can dine on what is quite literally just a bowl of cabbage at the spa cafe. And while there is something to be said for the many kind hourly servers and front desk agents that we encountered, the overall impression is of a managing team that would rather extort every penny from guests than use any of those funds to restore the glory of this property. But as I said, the spa is absolutely delightful, and I will probably grin and bear the surrounding mediocrity for years to come in order to enjoy it.
