When my wife and I decided to return home to buy a house in the Asheville area, we were admittedly expecting to be unsuccessful. With the current housing market (especially in Asheville) we were fully prepared to be priced out. Luckily, Laurie made the arduous process of being a first-time homebuyer manageable for my wife and I in ways that were altogether a pleasant surprise. Laurie is prompt in her responses and proactive in ushering her clients along in the process. At every step, my wife and I felt confident that we could rely on Laurie to help us understand the idiosyncrasies of buying a home. Laurie also did a wonderful job of setting our expectations at our first meeting. Laurie was recommended to me by a co-worker. I was new to the area and needed some help buying a home. This would have been my third home purchase of my life. Two years later, I would need to move for work and so I asked Laurie to help me sell my house. She was spectacular on both the buy and sell side of my transactions. Where she really helped was with her knowledge of the local market and in simplifying and explaining the process of buying and selling real estate. I appreciated her honesty and availability.
