Welcome Friends Childcare Center

I dont recommend this daycare especially if your child has a disability!! Initially I had a great feeling about this place, it is a smaller setting for daycares but I thought that was perfect considering my son (3) is autistic and I thought this environment would help him so much. Everyone seemed nice and friendly upfront. They knew about his disability beforehand I received reassurance on my worries, that they would try anyways and it did give me a false sense of hope. They couldnt even make it a week of trying when I got a call from work from the assistant director letting me know in an unprofessional manner that this isnt going to work out and they were dropping my child, it was his first full official day of the week. The other days were a short visit. The director did give me a more appropriate reason I will sayKeeping the details short: essentially they are not equipped and educated to care for a child with autism. She even went as far as saying she started googling information about autism, which goes to show how unprepared they really were.Then invited me to church right after having that conversation. Mind you I am Christian buttime and place definitely rubbed me off wrong and gave me red flags (the place in general). I would have NEVER even let my child enroll here had I known how uneducated and unequipped they truly were but again they reassured me otherwise.

I went to preschool here about 13 years ago. It was a good daycare but I think they were slightly negligent of my brother's physical disabilities although I do not remember for sure. I would go in with good expectations but be wary.

Dedicated hardworking staff. The owners I consider my family and they are good as gold, down to earth people. Children whome go to this daycare center are in good hands!! If seen their operation myself!!

Great center low ratios the children get more one on one attention and the teachers greet the parents and children in with love. The center works with the children on getting ready for school.
