Do NOT rent here if you value your sanity and wallet. Most upper staff are extremely rude and intrusive, lower staff is replaced almost weekly, leaving very few with any real training. Hallways, elevators and staircases perpetually contain or smell of urine. The “managers” are extremely entitled and will find any excuse to charge you exorbitant fines, praying on struggling and inexperienced college student's. DO NOT RENT HERE.

If I could give them no stars I would. This is the worst place to live in Boone. I have lived here for 2 years, thinking the experience would get better and it has only gotten worse. The management is HORRIBLE. They are not willing to work with you at all and are all extremely rude. I have had an issue with my rent charges and they haven't been able to get back to me for a month. And it would have been longer if I didn't keep bugging them. Everyone that works here is extremely lazy and always gives misinformation. My roommate called Tripp about a problem and wouldn't help so proceeded to hang up the phone on her. How do you run a business like that? I have tried to talk to a manager (Brittany) for weeks and they will not accept calls, only emails which is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. Whenever someone asks about living here I always tell them how terrible it is and to not live here. Needless to say I will not be signing a lease here again and will make sure people know how terrible this place is.

Tripp Garrison is the property manager here at the Standard of Boone. I had an issue yesterday in regards of parking and he promptly fixed the issue. He handled it in a way of an experienced manager and followed up with me the following day to be sure I was satisfied with my issue we addressed the day before. The property manager is very knowledgeable about the systems they use at the facility and is more than wiling to reach out to residents. The facility offers students the amenities they would have to pay extra for somewhere else, a pool/gym/study area/outdoor lounges. The internal staff of maintenance crew is always timely and addresses matters until the end and is one of the best parts of being a resident. I resigned my lease in October for the following year as it made a great impression!

First I’d like to say that my son has lived at the standard since day one. We came up to move in, and the building was still under construction, so he was put in a hotel room. My son is on the spectrum, and we felt this apartment complex would help him a lot. After spending a year I. The hotel, he was finally able to move in. At that time the halls smelt horrible and the floors were filthy. Many things have gotten better. However, every time there is a room mate change ) he is in a four bedroom), nothing is done to clean the apartment. It has not been painted and new tenants are dealing with tubs that have mold growing in the caulking. The windows are filthy from the dirt of the road. And when you clean the inside of the windows The knobs break off. The floors were put in at an angle, so there is concrete visible around the kitchen. Last year we allowed our son to have a car. After Coming home from work at 2 am he parked in between two cars. In the morning the cars were gone and he was over the yellow line. The car was booted and we were charged 200.00. This happened again a week later. The company the standard hires for towing has very rude people and they laugh at you when you explain what is happening. The parking spaces are just too small! If moving in, check your room before you sign for it, it should be clean, vacuumed sanitized and free from mold. Ceiling fans that are covered with soot from brake dust From the road and garages should be replaced or sanitiZed. If residents are required to clean when they move out, the apartment needs to be clean when They move in. I can not change apartments. As that is not Good to do to people on the spectrum. My son feels that the management nit picks everything. But they are not stellar at maintenance or sticking up for their residence when they have problems with parking or rowdy neighbors.
