Direct Care is an Urgent Care and Wellness Practice located in Boone, NC.

Our clinic is known for being convenient, affordable, and accepting both same day Walk-In visits as well as scheduled appointments.

We perform DOT exams, pre –employment physicals, and school physicals.  

Urgent Care: We have same day testing for common illnessses such as UTI, Strep, Covid, Influenza, Mononucleosis.  We also test and treat STD's, Vaginitis and perform in clinic Pregnancy testing.   Our clinic can also help  animal bites, lacerations, abscesses/cysts, skin conditions, and skin tag removal.   

Wellness Clinic: Offering Wellness screenings that screen your general state of health.  This may be helpful especially if you are experiencing new fatigue, decreased stamina, hot flashes/flushing, weight gain, or food cravings.  We offer a range of blood tests, as well as specific testing for male and female hormone levels, screening for micronutrient deficiencies, food/environmental allergies, tick borne illness, TB tests, Heavy metals, Thyroid, Diabetes screenings.  Our clinic can have results within 24-48 hours.

Our clinic utilizes PCR testing for many types of conditions from Gastrointestinal infections, Urinary tract infections, Respiratory illnesses, Sinusitis, Bronchitis, Slow healing wounds, recurrent skin infections.  This allows for faster results and treatment.

We provide IV fluids in clinic for quick relief of dehydration, fatigue, recent alcohol use, physical exertion or after an illness to help you get back to feeling better. 

Additionally, we provide Specialist referrals, medication refills and help you find and establish with a Primary Care Provider.  

Telehealth visits are available for some illnesses and for medication refills.
