My neighbors thought I was crazy paying for lawn care through Leapfrog. Now my house can be easily identified as the one with the great looking grass and those very same neighbors are scrambling to get theirs to look that nice. Great company with great communication!

Only 3 months after spending over $4,500 with Leapfrog to sod my small backyard, you can see the result in these photos. I strictly followed the watering instructions provided by Leapfrog. Their original installers did not roll the sod and I had to make Leapfrog aware of that. At the first sign of stress on the new sod, we notified their project manager by way of text and it took several weeks for a visit by him. Then it took several more weeks for the following response from Leapfrog:
-the sod is dead
-it was due to the severe heat and humidity and homeowner mowing the lawn too short
-they would be happy to give me a quote to re-do/seed the yard in the fall
The blame was placed on Mother Nature and the homeowner/customer. In full disclosure, I was made aware that there was no guarantee with the sod. That said, for the service provider to take no responsibility at all is disappointing. It bears noting that we also had their annual maintenance service for over a year; their technicians came out for routine applications (surprise, my front yard is loaded with weeds and bermuda) and never noticed the stressed-out new sod. Upon us voicing our displeasure and lack of any attempt to "make this right" other than have us spend more money, there has not been any communication in any form other than email.
