I wasnt familiar with Collaborative and after learning more, it was the best fit for me as I wanted the focus on our child and what was the most fair. Attempting to find a lawyer to represent you during the divorce process, arguably one of the most stressful times in your life, is a daunting prospect to say the least. I was referred to Road to Resolution and I engaged Robin and the R2R team for help with my divorce. Robin and her team were AMAZING to work with! At times, I doubted that collaborative divorce was a realistic option for me. But Robin proved me wrong. She demonstrated it is possible to avoid court, reach a FAIR and private agreement, and protect everyones best interests, even in the most emotionally charged situations. SEEK OTHER LEGAL SERVICES. There are lots of options in the Charlotte Metro area. I was able to find a great firm and lawyer to complete my collaborative divorce after terminating Road to Resolution. My advice is to look around. There are many well educated, professional options in lots of price ranges. Other than Road to Resolution my journey to divorce was pretty smooth, hope yours will be too.
