Great building. Great management. Extremely well-maintained, The only negatives are a slow elevator, and no working visitor / delivery system. You need to go downstairs to the front door to accept visitors or deliveries.

I recently had the pleasure of a tour at Foster on the Park. Very unique property. The gentleman who gave me my tour was extremely knowledgeable and definitely had me convinced that this would my preferred choice for a new home in downtown Durham.

I leased here for half a year, and ended up breaking my lease 6 months early to move to newer property a few hundred feet away.*
I found the units to be overpriced for what you were getting, I was paying over $1,800 for a 615 square foot unit. The unit was advertised as a "1 bedroom", but the bedroom is located at the interior of the unit (without a window) with walls that did not fully reach the ceiling. Storage space was extremely limited, with no walk-in closet and a narrow kitchen counter that made cooking difficult. Having toured about a dozen other properties and described my unitafter I moved to Fosternone of them would have marketed my apartment as a 1 bedroom, I was told I was living in what was effectively a studio at marked-up price.
I moved in during the summer, and it seemed that the property was likewise plagued by mechanical issues. 1 of the building's 2 elevators was out of service for several months, with limited communication about its availability. Garage doors were likewise malfunctioning, and there were a period of time where key fobs were unable to access the building. These issues were resolved by the fall, but it speaks to greater issues of quality.
Foster's management team was incredibly responsive and was consistently attentive to my needs.
*For reference, I have moved to a newer property where I am paying less than $2,000 for an 800 square foot unit, with a full bedroom, balcony, walk-in closet, and close to triple the counter space.

Foster on the Park has breathtaking views, vibrant community events, and central location at Durham Central Park. The cleanliness and tranquility of the surroundings, along with the added security of gated parking, make Foster on the Park an exceptional choice. I wholeheartedly recommend Foster on the Park to anyone seeking a home with a perfect blend of comfort, community, and convenience.
