EDIT: Lmao Tony you can't help but be the victim in every situation huh? The phone was broken but you managed to answer it the first time I called, then ignored my following calls, and I was able to leave a voicemail. Judging from the other review, you didn't seem to have a problem calling and accusing the other reviewer of being me. So the phone suddenly started working again after I left a bad review? Just so you could call the wrong person and accuse them of being me lmao. And I'll walk into your barbershop when I please and I'll make sure you cut my hair and do a good job for once. But considering the hack, rush job you did everytime I had to deal with you, I'm much happier paying significantly less at a barbershop where I don't have to deal with you nor pay your ridiculous prices for simple buzzcuts. I pay just over half what you charge and my new barber actually takes his time and my cuts come out looking fresher than the "hurry up and buy" attitude with your constant scowl everytime i came in. You ain't special, Tony. You're a ex-con homophobe who never had anything interesting to say, and you're always the victim in every situation. It's never your fault, right? It's sad you spent all that time in prison and still can't own up to your misdeeds and continue to portray yourself as a victim. I feel sorry for you, really. You never matured one bit inside and clearly never learned much but to cut hair while doing time, because you showe your true colors. I leave a review and you call some other dude to insult HIM thinking it was me. C'mon son. Ypu clearly feel some type of way about the other dude for you to accuse HIM of being me . I hope you get over all that bitterness you bottle up inside yourself and find happiness one day, but you've got a long way to go before that happens. First step would be to get over yourself and act like I'm supposed to have good things to say about you when you were clearly going out of your way to ignore my messages and phone calls, then you've got the audacity to say I should THANK YOU for your "service" afterwards? What did you do for me besides geme out of your shop quickly and take my money? I don't owe you anything, but you owe it to yourself to work on becoming a better person and to stop lying to make yourself out to never be at fault. Excuses are for failures. Tony cuts your hair with precision and style, but ever since he moved to Morehead Avenue, he refuses to return any calls and has hung up on me at LEAST 5 TIMES in a three day timespan! Tried leaving messages for over a week, never returned. I WAS a regular customer, tipped generously, ALWAYS showed up on time for my appointments. When he first opened, he was friendly, warm, then all of a sudden, I was a burden! I consistenly tipped $5 to $10 + $30, for him to have some unspoken issue I have no explanation for! Dude needs therapy. Be sure you don't mention anything about the LGBTQ community around Tony - more than once have I seen him raise his voice and swear around children and a young woman simply for her bringing up the topic! Definitely NOT a friendly person, dont be fool ed.

Really great people and were patient and awesome with my 12 year old and 17 year old with Down Syndrome. Did a great job matching the styles to the pictures we brought in.

Apparently a review was left by someone under the pseudonym of "Danny Glover" and had some very personal complaints about Tony that they chose to air out in a very public manner. I didn't have any issues with Tony until he called me over the summer and left a voicemail saying "so that's how you feel huh?" along with some vague...I wouldn't necessarily classify them as threats, but, seeing as I still have the voicemail, it's pretty clear that he was implying. I didn't understand anything he was talking about on the voicemail, because it made no sense to me, as my name isn't Danny Glover to begin with, and I had obly called once on a Saturday, and twice on either the following Monday or Tuesday, once in the late morning and once again shortly after my lunch break at work. Basically, his voicemail said (summarily) "so that's how you really feel about me, huh? Well, Danny, you can (garbled) hide behind a review but (garbled for a length of time here, but what I heard was what were obviousl insults, and although I'm an audio engineer by trade, the rest of the message is still hard to understand, no matter how many times I've tried to clean the audio up, all I'm able to understand is more insults and then it ends. I was confused & concerned, I work three jobs. I called Tony back bc I didn't understand why he was cling me Danny and berating me. Tony answered immediately and I asked him about voicemail and told him my name wasn't Danny, it's Dave. Tony says "OK Danny or Dave, whatever name you wanna use, blah blah blah, go ahead and make a reservation (obviously a threat, I'm sure he will deny it). He said "all I know is this # called me multiple times today and YOU left me a bad review," and something else I don't remember. I tried to stay cool and told him if I was going to leave a bad review, I wouldn't use a fake name, but then I stopped myself and just told Tony he had already made up his mind, and I wasn't going to waste my time trying to convince him otherwise, because it was pointless continue listening to him and he was never going to change his mind. I've had one convo with Tony, he told me the landlord was lying and accusing Tony of smoking pot inside. I said owner didnt want black owned biz. Tony knew this already. 1st & last convo we had. I dont talk much to barbers. Only asked how his fam was and what I owed. One word responses. Cool, idc, I wasn't paying Tony to be my friend. 1 star bc he accused me of something I didn't do, and because he threatened me, quote " go ahead and make an appointment, come see what happens." If I happen to see you, Tony, go ahead and put hands on me. You got my word I won't even attempt to prevent you from doing whatever you decide to do. I really wish I could say something positive here, except I can't. You wrongfully accused me of leaving a bad review filled with personal attacks on you. I barely know anything about you. Make it make sense, besides your Johnny Cochran-level evidence that because you didn't answer a couple calls from one number, it HAS to be me. I'll even send you my address and # so you can lmk when you're otw to do your thing. I'll just wait in my front yard and sit down and whenever you show up, go wild. Bring some friends so you don't get in trouble, if you want. And I can't stress how serious I am about this offer.
