AVOID THE HOUSE MANNERS PACKAGE AT ALL COSTS. After 2 weeks with Stephanie our puppy had serious health concerns: diarrhea for 3 weeks with blood, so skinny we could see his hip bones and ribs, and he came home with a bacterial infection that cause him to bald on the top of his head. His behavior was also noticeably worse than before 2 weeks with Stephanie. He's only 4 months old, so we're not expecting him to be perfect....but after $1400 for training, we expected SOME progress. He actually went backwards in progress after 2 weeks in a professional training setting. They do not work on "sit" "stay" "come" or any other basic commands, so when he came home he forgot everything we taught him prior. I don't even think they worked on potty or crate training either; he had more accidents in our house the first day home after Off Leash K9 Training than the 3 weeks leading up to, and he now acts traumatized in his crate whenever we put him in there. His bad behaviors such as jumping and biting were worse after spending 2 weeks at Stephanie's house. I honestly have no idea what she did with him for 2 weeks.... but I can tell you it wasn't worth anywhere close to $1400. I'm convinced that something happened to him under K9's care and they are not being transparent with us. To me, he was neglected. Stephanie was training multiple other dogs the same time our pup was in her care, so how much attention did he really receive? He came home a completely different dog, and not in a good way. We've brought these issues up to Diana, the owner, and her response was the most appalling. She has no interest in resolving the situation. She blamed everything on allergies (our vet insisted his scalped head was not due to allergies, plus I didn't realize allergies cause behavioral issues). She has declined to reimburse us for our vet bills even though they're all directly related to the 2 weeks our puppy was in K9's care. I've reported them to BBB and will continue to write negative reviews because I would hate it if anyone else has to go through what we went through after losing 2 precious weeks with our puppy. We will never get those 2 weeks back. We've had to work really hard since he's been home to retrain him on top of taking multiple trips to the vet to get medications and tests run, just to get his health back to normal. Saying we're disappointed is an understatement. But honestly, what do they care? They don't, and Diana's response was very clear to us. This is one negative review in the sea of 5 stars..... so just a word of caution-- once they have your money, they do not care. I would go as far to say the House Manners Package is a scam.

I have been traing dogs for many years but never with the e collar,so not only did my 2 year old GSD need some training I needed it too. A friend recommended K9 off leash? and said to request Stefani so we did. We signed up for the basic and advanced package I cannot put into words what a great job Stefani did teaching both of us. After only after 8 weeks my dog listens to her commands like a Marine , she works off leash under very high distraction with very little correction and is a pleasure in the house, let me stress though you have to put in the work yourself dog training is a lifetime commitment? bot off leash k9 will give you the skills.

I received a dog who was trained here...this dog was not trained by a balanced trainer who used balanced training methods.more like dominance training...this dog yelped every time I called it to come...there is only one reason that this happens...they shock the dog at the time of command, and not a gentle shock...it is apparent the setting was at maxed juice...The former owner told me the setting that his trainer used was 22, so when I did my test, this was way too high for this dog...the setting that should be used was 11...he was also told to juice it a 100 when the dog was in a high drive state...do not ever do this...get a balanced trainer, go online, look up world renowned trainers such as Mike ritlland, robert cabral or Richard hienz...you can also look at k9-1 and upstate canine academy...train your own dog with a balanced method. It will be more rewarding for you and your dog, build the bound it is fun.
