Came here for Duke University UDN program for my children, checking in was a nightmare at first. The rooms were okay. Food was paid for by the program but most of it wasn't even edible so couldnt even barely eat because the food wasnt edible.., you can tell no effort was even put in. rude employees that was dealing with the food/snacks.
Food & drinks: Food was not even edible. Horrible selection, especially for autistic children (no pizza or nuggets) but worst of all the food was absolutely disgusting. You could tell the employees just didn't put any effort in at all.

Uncomfortable beds beware!!! We stayed here because there used to be a shuttle between this hotel and the hospital for guest convenience. We were told upon arrival that there would be a shuttle the next morning and to be down in the lobby around 8 am to catch it. We did what we were told and there was no shuttle. My dad had a heart ablation procedure and Im exhausted from lack of sleep in the uncomfortable room we stayed in. Room 306 is horrible. We will never stay here again! Overpriced breakfastsmall portions and not enough options! I received a kid sized omelette and a sliver of pineapple for $12. This location is not up to standard for the Hilton name. Nothing nice about it at all. Sleeping in our vehicle would have been a better option.

Under the tutelage of Jason Berry, Director of Sales, General Manager Traci Kessler, and the Front Desk Manager Eric: Marquita, Amy, and Shontais can do and will do attitude permeates our patients stay. They are consummate professionals.
As I know winning teams perform at their best day in and day out. They are consistent. Consistency is delivery of what has become to be expected at the Hilton Garden Inn by Hilton Durham\University Medical Center. The team not only live this philosophy, but they also define it, and they redefine it. As a client/guest I am always asking, Do we belong here? Are our expectations to high? Once again, the Hilton Garden Inn by Hilton Durham\University Medical Center staff not only exceeds them and anticipate them; they make us feel we belong.
The Hilton Garden Inn by Hilton Durham\University Medical Center amenities include but are not limited to a pool, excellent dining/ room service, and athletic and business centers.
I must say that whether you are traveling for medical/business/personal reasons, the Hilton Garden Inn by Hilton Durham\University Medical Center makes the perfect home base for all of your time in Durham.
