Went to visit this past week and it was my favorite part of my trip! This tour was so informative and well done. The tour guide faith is a wonderful guide. I am so thankful there are places that are preserved such as this for future generations to learn about. I recommend for any person visiting to check it out!

This site is amazing Ling history. It is beautiful, tragic, fascinating, and inspires real understanding and empathy for the hundreds and thousands of men ,women and children whose lives played out under the horrendous system that was slavery. Faith our guide was both detailed accurate and deeply sympathetic with her information. The history was vivid, deeply saddening and yet my heart opened to these humans who withstood those times. The slave owners and their vision, blind to the humanity and focused on the possibility of more and more wealth, was also clear. Thank you so much for those that made this so profoundly moving. The cost is very low so I recommend the tour everyone.

Amazing historical site. This is the first platantion I've been to that didn't romanticize the place or time period. Bill did a fantastic job of telling the stories that are often omitted- the lives, struggles, and resistance of those enslaved.
