Alpha Academy

I'M A STUDENT OF ALPHA ACADEMY AND SOMETIMES THIS SCHOOL MAKES ME WANNA KMS. THIS SCHOOL IS SO BAD I DON'T UNDERSTAND. THE ADMINISTRATORS LIKE BARBARA SMITH ARE HORRIBLE. THEY DON'T LISTEN TO YOU ALL THEY DO IS COMPLAIN TO YOU ABOUT EVERYTHING. My teacher currently is Terrance McCreary. He does NOT teach at all. all he does is sit in a chair and complain about us not doing our work. The only time he teaches is when BARBARA SMITH is there.

I cannot put in words how astronomically disgusting and bad this school is. For my almost 3 years of being at this school it has completely ruined my life and my childhood I will never see my life the same ever again, to the bullying to rude staff this place should be shut down as it is a never ending bottomless pit of death. The teachers and staff do absolutely nothing when people are bullied, discriminated ex. The teachers are very impulsive and wrong minded individuals. It makes me think that they just hire anybody. The amount of racism in this school is very uncalled for but reporting many situations myself it never was bothered. All the student are very inappropriate and racist. Please DO NOT In role your child in this school if you dont want them to be suicidal.

Be no means should anyone enroll their children at Alpha Academy. Ive worked this whole school year to attempt to reach out about new parent concerns, Ive called and left voicemails with Ms. Tillman and have received no response. I have also emailed with no response. When given the opportunity to submit town hall questions, I did that as well. The front office staff is rude and quick to hang up the phone. The mall cop is just that, he does not assist in the terrible traffic pattern or the danger of parents entering hwy 401 at the beginning of rush hour traffic. On occasional days is there a woman directing traffic but it is the most inconsistent schedule. I do not complain without solution but the school doesnt respond to hear of possible solutions. One solution being paying the County to have a traffic enforcement officer present at the beginning and end of the school day. After speaking to the county SRO supervisor, its my understanding alpha academy thought the cost of their parents and students safety wasnt worth the investment. Their traffic pattern, especially in the evenings, has and will continue to cause accidents. I know a Google review is a drop in the bucket but I will also be filling a formal grievance with NC DPI / State Board of Education since I have attempted to resolve my concerns with the school to no avail. My daughter will not be returning next year.

This place has an outstandingly disgusting staff/teachers. As a former students of alpha academy that has attended this school under a year ago,I find myself soaring higher in my academics in my current school. The teachers do not respect their students, and they don't listen to the child even though they have a valid point. When the parents get involved with the teacher, the teachers act like goody two shoes and blame everything that has went wrong in their classroom on the student. When the parents and Teachers have arguments, the teacher takes their anger out on the student while they are at school and the parents are not around to witness this type of verbal and metal abuse.
