Now "GENERATION CHURCH" is the name! Saving souls is their thing! This wonderful family of believers came from what was Goldsboro First Assembly of God and has been in the community for many many years serving so many people in the community. After gaining a new Pastor in 2012 Josh Clark and his wife Pastor Amber Clark this church took a turn in a new direction! They truly have a heart and passion for people. Especially families and children. The new name (Although still an Assemblies of God member) reflects their interest in families...I was saved in this church in 2012 and these pastors took me under their wing and showed me the wonderful Word of God and how to walk it out. The members became family, they welcomed me and my family and made us feel loved. Pastor Josh has a style of teaching that is easy to understand and absorb, with a quirky sense of humor to add in the mix! Pastor Amber is the youth Pastor and administrator. She would go to any length for her kids and makes sure they get the True meaning of the Word. The pastors and other members of the ministirial staff are just as dedicated and amazing, always there to help! If you and your family, or just a single person are looking for a home and a family this is the place. Reach out to anyone in this church and I am sure you won't be disappointed. Come be taught the Word of God and watch your amazing transformation because the Holy Spirit is truly alive here!
