Laughing owl has been downtown for several years now, and it has only gotten better since then. The quality of the food is amazing, it just tastes fresh. If you are looking for Asian Fusion cuisine, this is your place! Highly recommend. My favorite go to is the General Tso Chicken. The environment is so peaceful, I love when they have live music playing. The service is another perk of Laughing Owl, everyone is so nice and super attentive. A very welcoming place for dinner with friends or the whole family!

This place was amazing!!!!!!!! This has been the only Asian inspired cuisine in the whole state of North carolina...that actually made me close my eyes while I was eating my meal....between the waitress great personality ..her name was Ali....to the different choices of meats and vegetables meals....omgosh that phad Thai was the best heat and cooked noodle dish ...I mean I couldn't stop eating it...I'm eating my left overs the same night(right now).the chef didn't their thing! The place was clean and wvery single thing was tasted on that menu today...just I can't explain the goodness...you have to just drive there and experience it yourself....thank you for the unforgettable experience!!! See you next week!

Interesting but not inspired cuisine. Poorly lit. Pretentious service. Good potential, but a bit shy of great. *Update, 3/25/24: My bride ordered a "bowl" of Tom Yum soup. It was barely bigger than a cup. Other Tom Yum soup is said to be able to cure what ails ya. She said this soup did not lend any support to that adage. I tried the Chef Salad, descibed as "tossed with ranch dressing." The visually sous vide prepared chicken seemed a bit dry, except the parts wearing the ranch dressing. Underneath the chicken, it appeared I had asked for some lettuce with ranch dressing. I suugest a more acurately descriptive word for the menu would be "drowned in ranch dressing." Nice decor, good music, disinterested staff. The food was better last time. More than likely our last visit. Good luck, Laughing Owl.
