If you like hibachi-style food but dont want a long, drawn-out process with flaming onion volcanos to get your food, Midori Express is for you. The hibachi entrees (with chicken, shrimp, steak, or a combination of these) comes with fried rice and a combination of onions, carrots, and zucchini. The Clear Soup is like the soup thats served in the sit-down hibachi restaurantsa clear broth with sliced green onions. Youll receive a small bag of the rice crunchies to sprinkle into your soup. The soup is always hot and very good. The House Salad is served in a square flip-top styrofoam container. The salad consists of lettuce and a few carrot pieces. I always order the ginger dressing. Again, this dressing is like the ginger dressing thats served in the sit-down hibachi restaurants. I love this dressing! I usually order hibachi chicken or hibachi shrimp. Anytime I have ordered these entrees, they were good and the proportions were plenty for me. I have tried both the white sauce and the ginger sauce (dipping sauce) and I liked the flavor of them both. They also serve chicken wings, tempura, and a small sushi roll selection. There are chefs specials offered that includes ribeye steak, filet mignon, grilled salmon, scallops, and more. These chefs specials include fried rice and grilled vegetables. The exterior of the building looks a bit aged but the interior is always clean and the tables are wiped off. This building used to be a Burger King restaurant many years agoI remember when it used to be a Burger King. This restaurant has been serving customers for a long time and I hope they will continue to do so. The quality and quantity of the food may not be quite reminiscent of the traditional sit-down hibachi-style restaurants, however if you want a meal that is comparable in taste and not as expensive, then try Midori Express.
