I met Ronnie, the Owner of Stoney Creek Landscaping, one day while working on a neighbor's property.  My husband and I hired his company to renovate the very weedy lawn of a house in Pleasant Garden.  He timed the work carefully and used a high-quality seed.  The results were amazing - we have never seen new grass come in this lush and green - and the cost was reasonable.  Ronnie did the work himself and kept an eye on the project for weeks while the grass came in.  Having had such a good experience, we recommended him to my parents nearby.  They have been so pleased with his work and the appearance of their yard.  He is always doing extras for them which is much appreciated.  A few months ago, my parents lost some very large limbs in a storm.  Ronnie was out the next day to address these.   It's great to have the Owner of the company be the one who works on your property.   Ronnie always comes himself, which we prefer, as we trust him and he is familiar with our properties.  From experience, we know that it is not easy to be an owner/operator.  We highly recommend Ronnie and Stoney Creek Landscaping Management!

Even though they did a good job on the landscaping, I would not recommend Stoney Creek. Ronnie, the owner, was very disrespectful to my wife, who was excited to have our landscaping updated. He was very poor at communicating with us, and after telling us multiple times he would be coming out, and never coming week after week, it was hard not to become frustrated. Eventually, they sent a young man out with poor equipment that broke multiple times, and the job took weeks longer than it should have. Even though we told them multiple times what type of design we wanted, we had to remind them, and make changes after the dirt was laid down. Ronnie was extremely rude throughout this whole process, and made my wife very upset. A few days after completed, we noticed weeds already growing through the mulch. We were told the job would include maintenance and a warranty for up to a year, as well as a timed sprinkler system, which we never received. These were not in our contract, but why tell us that, if you wont follow through and provide these services? Once we paid for the job, we never heard from Ronnie or Stoney Creek ever again, and we dont expect to, based on our experience with them.

Business and service turned out great but slowly descended into showing up when he (Ronnie) wanted to and would get angry when an email was sent. He said he preferred text but when text was used he would argue with me like we were in a relationship. My contract ended at the end of April 2021 and he came as he wished afterwards and sent an invoice. We informed him that the contract had ended and he hounded us to the point of him going to a lawyer to get $200 plus a $3.00 late fee. It is my recommendation that you not deal with Ronnie Rumple or make sure that you make sure that you remind him that he is providing a paid service and you do not work for him! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!

We recently hired Stoney Creek and couldn't be happier. Another review was unfavorable and we had a very positive experience. Ronnie was extremely personable and professional, knowledgeable, and has a great plan in place for us. The work has started and his team is polite and thorough. So far so good!
