I ordered flowers (same day delivery) to be delivered on a Saturday for my grandmothers 85th birthday and the flowers never came. I never got a call or message to let me know of any type of delay. I spent $75 and my grandmother did not get the flowers on the day promised. I sent a frustrated email asking for a refund. I got a text the following day from the florist apologizing because their delivery driver did not show up for work that day. I do understand that was not their fault, but they should have a backup plan in case this kind of thing happens. They told me they would offer me a free upgrade and the flowers would be delivered that day. The flowers just arrived and they had added on a box of chocolates to make up for the delay. My grandmother loves the flowers and they are beautiful! I probably will not order from this shop again because of the inconvenience of the delay and the price. The flowers were $75 and definitely not worth that much money for the delay in service. They are pretty flowers, but I dont think they are pretty enough to cost $75. The gesture of adding the chocolates and texting me the apology did bring me to edit my review from a 1 star rating up to a 2 star rating though.
