The caregivers are dedicated but the owners of the Hickory,NC franchise of Home Instead only care about the $$$ and treat their employees terribly and with total disrespect They say they are Christians and their motto is ‘Loving on others’ but they don’t walk the talk - they’re hypocrites They charge the clients an enormous amount of money but pay their caregivers poorly.

I truly enjoy working for this company and it is a honor to have met such kind and caring people. It’s a genuine feeling that you don’t get to see and experience in a lot of day to day businesses. It is a blessing because I know they are there if ever needed.. They take care of the staff like their own family! They make sure that each and every client has the care they need and a personal one on one connection. Caring & Compassion at its finest. Thank you for the experience and opportunity.

Terrible. Very disheartening from what it use to be like years ago. From what I have heard from some of the old staff that use to work for this company. Apparently they sell you everything under the sun but deliver on none of it. They step on and squash the love the caregivers give to their clients trying get to the money and don’t really give a damn about them. They disrespect there caregivers and only want the money. Very greedy people. Do yourself a favor. Find better.

Very great place..They help out our residents for Christmas this year..The smiles on our residents face was priceless. Anyone that takes the time out to bless other people with no questions ask is a true blessing. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts..Gateway really appreciated all that you done for us during this Christmas season.
