Good venue for acts that probably wouldn't otherwise play here, but they should consider beefing up security. Some of the audience at the Justin Townes Earle concert were more of a show than the show onstage: 1) Couple who got in a near-fight with a group of women in the row in front of me over "saved" general admission seats. 2) One of those women later falling down, spilling beer on me and other patrons, because she was intoxicated. 3) Some woman yelling out a pro-Trump slogan when Earle was introducing a topical song. 4) Barely decipherable rubes calling out requests and yelling for Earle to play "10 more!" songs late in his set. Security should have handled all of these incidents. If they were there, I didn't see them. I'd also like to see lower beer prices ($7 for a craft draft?) and a greater variety of acts (other musical genres; a comedy act; theater that's more avant garde than Hickory Community Theatre and The Green Room).
