I think their calibration is off. The glasses made everything within 5 foot blurry, but beyond that like looking through a pair of binoculars. I won't be able to drive, or look at the phone with them as they make everything within 5 foot too blurry to see, and worsen my near vision. They failed to tell me the lenses might do that at time of purchase, but after spending over $600 there, now tell me it is because I ordered single vision. I didn't get glasses to make everything within 5 ft much worse while wearing them. But they are very friendly, and know how to push products. Now to be fair, I'm over 55, and haven't given my eyes time to adjust. This is my review upon just getting the glasses. I can see much better within arm's distance without the glasses as it is. So make note of that if you haven't worn glasses for years, and go in. It would have been better if they had a trial pair of lenses for me to test by looking at my phone, or text in a book to read in my prescription before ordering. But if I am wanting to see a gnat on a wall past 20 feet, I can do that with these glasses. I'm pretty sure I don't need to read fine print at 20 ft away with crystal clarity in order to try selling me bifocals. And as a former nurse, I'm pretty sure younger eyes don't have that fine detail at 20 ft to read fine print either. Your calibrations are off to sell bifocals. They decrease my vision up to the first five foot, now should you move the field of clarity closer to my eyes, you will find I don't need bifocals that you want to sell. Let me get this straight. You decreased my near vision with your glasses in order to get me to buy bifocals to compensate? I don't need to read fine print at 20ft with crystal clarity. Your calibrations are off in order to sell bifocals I don't need. I'm saying you tried ripping me off, and if you stand by your not, by all means take me to court. I am prepared to go to court to show I'm correct, are you? People reading this, if it makes me want to go to court to prove I'm being ripped off in order to sell bifocals I don't need because my near vision is fine without the glasses, but worsened with, you might want to consider if you want to shop there. And yes, they are very friendly while pushing product. Even a 20 year old doesn't need to read fine print 20 ft. And considering the company relies on an electronic chart that isn't accurately measured as a wall chart to represent a true 20 ft in real life, I would say the computer needs recalibration. I am aware how the shape of the human eye changes with age. But as a former nurse, I'm telling you, either your computer, or your eye doctor needs to be recalibrated so you aren't pushing bifocals because your glassed decrease near vision. And furthermore, I challenge the accuracy of your computer scaling the letters to the correct proportion in a room less than 10 feet to accurately represent the scaled letters at 20 ft. If you are that sure, by all means take me to court. I will be happy to test corrective lenses on a perfectly sized eye chart 20 ft away, and have it compared to your computer results if you are that sure. Yes, you may give me greater far off vision than I need with your glasses to rob me of near vision in order to sell bifocals that I don't need. Not to mention, I just passed the eye test at the DMV to have my driver's license renewed without glasses...

Cancelling appointment simply based on the call center and my lack of ability to reach the ACTUAL Hickory office despite trying 3 separate numbers. The call center staff speaks extremely broken English, gives conflicting information(one said only certain add ons prevent same day lenses, the other says ANY add ons prevent them. This matters because as full time RVers we wont be here long enough to wait) and has a general lack of patience. When your English is that hard to understand you need to be patient and repeat yourself while I try and make sense of what you just said. Will find a mom and pop shop and gladly pay more for good service.

It was quick and easy, Ms. Yang made the exam extremely quick and simple, and Ms. Robin really took the time to make sure I made the right decision on my frames. Overall experience is one of the best Ive had. Would totally recommend.

Hello Robert, We are sorry to know about the challenges you're experiencing with your new glasses, especially considering the blurry vision within close range. It's crucial for us that you feel comfortable and satisfied with your eyewear, especially after making such a significant investment. It seems there may have been a miscommunication regarding the type of lenses best suited to your needs, particularly if near-vision clarity is essential for you. We appreciate your feedback about the product and our service approach; it helps us improve. Since you mentioned the adjustment period and being new to glasses after a long time, there's a possibility your experience may change as you adapt. However, we understand that doesn't solve the immediate issue. We'd like to offer a solution that meets your needs better, you may expect a call back from us soon. Kind regards,
