Zaki Oriental Rugs

My family and I traveled from Los Angeles to see Zaki and buy rugs for our home in Virginia. The experience was one we will never forget. We immediately felt at home with Zaki, his wife, and his staff. They took the time to walk with us throughout his immense showroom and explain the histories and details of his one-of-a-kind rugs, of which there were thousands. The prices of the rugs were more than reasonable, and Zaki is donating his earnings to an incredible cause - a charity focused on building orphanages and educating underprivileged children in Pakistan, where he grew up and has worked for years to give young people opportunities. Suffice it to say that we left High Point feeling wonderful.

We have long wanted quality, hand-knotted, wool rugs for our home. The wife and I debated between something from Wayfair (her) or to look for something in the nearby "furniture capital of the world" (me). She agreed to the short ride to High Point from Durham, NC. Zaki Oriental Rugs was our last stop of the day. Mr. Zaki and Awais provide the quality, selection, service, and price anyone could possibly desire when shopping for an oriental rug. The building is beautiful, and the entire experience working with these gentlemen was satisfying, educational, and at times awe-inspiring. Many/most of these "rugs" are more considered works of art. These rugs have transformed our home, they are so beautiful!!! We hope to be able to visit again, we still have floor to cover!!

My wife and I live in Seattle, but based on Zakis reputation nationally and in the home furnishings industry, we travelled to North Carolina to buy carpets for our remodel. It turned out to be a great plan. He has an amazing assortment of beautiful and high quality rugs. And Zaki is such an interesting and interested man, and he took such good care of us.
