    this was our first time looking into sending our pup. we have a vacation coming up and our vet was booked for boarding but they suggested pack pet resort. its right down the road. we attended a meet and great and based on bella's report card she did great. we look forward to her attending there for the week and know she will be in good hands. the neat part was they also posted photos of how she did outside with the other pups =) that is so cool. i highly recommend and look forward to using the resort if need be.

    Weve used pack pet many times over the last two years. The staff is always very nice, which is why we continued to return. Their pricing has gone up significantly, the website has issues quite a bit, its difficult to get in touch with a person, they do not return calls or messages timely and most importantly we have noticed a difference in our dogs care. The last 4 times weve boarded her, all of her linens were soiled with urine at pick up. In addition, she smelled like shed been laying in the soiled blanket. Im aware accidents can happen however I wouldnt expect the pet to have to continue to lay in a soiled bed. Our dog will hold it no problem 12 hours overnight and 5-6 hours during the day. At home she never has accidents in her crate or the house. Its quite bothersome that would happen.

    This past weekend was my first experience with Pack Pet Resort and I have not used a doggie daycare and boarding facility since the pandemic. I've used a few around the Charlotte area over the past 11 years though, unfortunately, a couple of them have closed. I was happy to see the facility seems spacious and clean (no odors when visiting). When I picked up my dog, he seemed very happy and no limping from soreness or injuries. He seemed to have fun! I am also glad they took into consideration his age and kept him in the calmer group to keep him safe. Those were the pros. As for the cons, I was disappointed about a few things. I called and spoke to Tori on 5/31/23 around 2:30'ish to schedule the initial Meet & Greet. I was given a 6/01/23, 8:30a.m appointment. When I arrived for the Meet & Greet, I was told I was not on the schedule. The young lady at the desk spoke to the manager to make an exception for a same day Meet & Greet. As of today, 6/6/2023, their website STILL STATES under FAQS MEET &GREET "Drop off your dog at the appointment time, the process is between 2-3 hours with no charge" yet they charged me $25.00 stating that they just changed their pricing! Poor communication, since I wasn't informed over the phone! Considering I had a lot going on and this was last minute weekend boarding I needed, I didn't argue, thinking I must have missed this detail. Also under FAQS "WILL I BE ABLE TO HAVE UPDATES ON MY PET?" As of today, their website STILL STATES "Yes, we have report cards that will be sent every day...". Apparently that is no longer true either. I dropped my dog off on Thursday, 4:20pm and only received a report card on Saturday, 6/03/23. When I asked about this, I was informed they also changed that policy to only send report cards on ODD days. Again, not informed of the policy change prior to drop-off. My instructions included wiping my dogs face after his meals. His food needs to be re-hydrated with water and he is a schnauzer with a beard, so food will get in there and cause bacteria to grow, not to mention cause his hair to get tangled. I was not questioned about that when dropping him off and reviewing my notes with the front desk staff. I wasn't informed that it would or wouldn't be done. It seems that detail was overlooked by the staff during check-in. And no, I did not add on a bath, I simply didn't think wiping his beard would be a big deal and my note about this was not questioned. Needless to say, when I picked him up and got a good look at him once in my vehicle, I noticed hardened food on the top of his nose, plus food stuck in his beard. Details matter! I believe that these little things matter when you entrust someone with the care of your pet! For those reasons, I'm only giving them 3 stars.
