Mangan Martial Arts Academy

My son has been going here now for a few months. This place is great and he loves it. He is only 5 but he is definitely learning to focus and practice. Good spot for sure :)

This academy is a great place for people of all ages to receive martial arts training. During the recent pandemic the leadership has adapted to the restrictions and conducted online training, outside classes and health screening to ensure everyone can safely participate. My son has grown with his physical strength and coordination as well as self-esteem through his involvement with this program. My daughters and I recently attended a self-defense course and found the training and information provided valuable and empowering. I would recommend this academy for anyone looking to train in Martial Arts in the Mooresville, NC area.

We enrolled our son at Mangan Martial Arts Academy more than a year ago. From the start Sensei and his family have been exceptional instructors. Initially, my wife and I thought it might be a challenge for our son to stay focussed in class being one of the younger students. That thought quickly dissipated. Sensei, Ms. Samantha, and Ms. Yuka all have unique ways to teach and make instruction fun while getting the most out of their students. The structure they provided at the time was fantastic. In March of this year when the Pandemic hit is when they truly went above and beyond. They immediately adapted, utilizing virtual classes to keep our sons instruction on path. In addition to the virtual classes, they created outdoor socially distanced instruction, and even one on one outdoor instruction. Mangan Martial Arts ability to adapt and continue to provide top notch instruction has made all the difference in keeping up some sort of normal for our son during this time.
