Thinking about boudoir? Hesitating because you're not skinny enough? Young enough? Brave enough? Put all of those things out of your head and do it now. You won't regret it. Kristina makes you feel so comfortable. In addition to being a great photographer, she's just an all around great person to cheer you on because this will be out of your comfort zone, but time will fly because you're having such a great time with what feels like an old friend. This is such an empowering gift to give yourself and wait until you see those pictures.

If your contemplating having your boudoir pictures taken, look no further than LKN Boudoir. Kristina is absolutely incredible at what she does. She will make you feel like the bada$$ queen that you are. She and Kristin (makeup artist) are laid back, sociable, professional and just all around cool! She will definitely make you feel very relaxed and at home in her gorgeous studio. So what are you waiting for!? Just go for it!

So, I am going to preface this by saying that I don't normally do reviews. Out of my busy and hectic schedule, I usually do not have the time. Well, let me just say, I had to make time because THIS WAS THE BEST DECISION I EVER MADE! I went back and forth on whether or not I wanted to do a Boudoir shoot and probably looked at close to 50-100 companies and LKN (Lake Norman) Boudoir stood out the most. From the getgo, on the website, you can tell that the owner is inclusive and pushes for body positivity. As a plus size womxn, this was increasingly important to me, and as an advocate for inclusivity, I knew I had to try it. Kristina did such a FANTASTIC and AMAZING job, I couldn't believe that those photos were of me. I will say that boudoir posing is a lot of work but she helped me understand the need for certain poses and never made me feel insecure or awkward. I originally booked my boudoir session so I could have photos to gift to my future husband on our wedding day but this experience lifted my self esteem and overall attitude to new and unparalled heights. If you are unsure or on the fence, do yourself a favor and BOOK THE SESSION. I also have to give a shoutout to Kristin, the makeup and hair artist, SHE IS THE BOMB! I am a goof and was almost an hour late to my session because of a mistake in scheduling on my end and Kristin (with the help of Kristina) got me all dolled up and ready to go with the patience and understanding of saints (not to mention that the makeup and hair were fire)!!!
