I grew up in a trailer park owned by Calvin Brodie and my mother has lived in this place for over 30 years. She's a very humble person and has had a lifetime of struggles to have the little bit she has now and is a Godly woman, always worked hard, always helped family in need, and always having to live with less than others. Unfortunately, Calvin Brodie has just made that much more difficult since he has decided to sell this particular trailer park. Now, my mother who's lived here over 30 years with nowhere else to go, or should I say unable due to circumstances, in her older age, has to figure out a way to start completely over. This includes her being forced into moving a rotten trailer that's not worth moving and most likely, unable to even be moved due to the condition. With what money and what way is this expected to be done? Not only her, but also all the other residents are in the situation. No one lives in a trailer park because they want to. I wish Calvin Brodie would've at least offered up the lots for sale to the residents already living there but I guess the big almighty dollar is too important than people's lives. It's not like the guy is not well off and has been for a long time. Anyway, it's disgusting to see my mother have to go through this, as if daily living isn't hard enough for her and all the other people living there having to figure out what they're going to do at 50, 60, 70 plus years old. This man isn't doing any minorities in this particular place any favors.
