Terrible and untrustworthy. They rent homes in poor condition then try to charge you for above and beyond your security deposit on move out. Some of the worst repair work Ive seen rotting sheds, towel bars affixed with double sided sticky tape. Air conditioning unit did not work for all of summer and they refused to fix it. Please pay attention to how they are padding their reviews with obviously requested reviews when they first meet with people. The majority of the REAL reviews are 1 star. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

Current resident. Two months with leaking floor from underneath my townhome. Ruined rug and furniture. No recourse, I rental charges decreased. I have been asked to pay full rent for only using the upstairs of my home. Also, rain water has been leaking in the home every time it rains for over 60 days.

Rented a home from them from December 2022 to March 2024. The incompetence of this company is staggering. I had a leak from the kitchen sink within the first couple of months. It took them a week to send a plumber. They told me not to use the sink in the meantime. Really? Guess Ill wash my dishes in the bath tub then? Had to call them multiple times for numerous repairs, the only one they were quick to respond to was when the AC went out in the middle of August, but I suppose this was only because they are required to by law for HVAC failure. If you want to add a pet to your lease, be prepared to wait a full month, and thats AFTER going through their nonsense to register a pet. It took numerous phone calls and messages, daily, for them to approve the pet. Good thing the adoption agency helped us and called their emergency number to get someone to answer and approve us. Thats the only way we were able to get a pet approved. How ridiculous is that? Lastly, dont expect your full security deposit back. These clowns not only charge to clean your home for $375, they charge $75 per room to wipe down walls, $15 per bulb that they find burnt out, plus a myriad of other nonsense charges. Mind you, we left the house looking like when we moved in, which was spotless. Pick any company but Mynd for your rental needs.

Such an unorganized company you will never never NEVER be able to talk on the phone to anybody who knows whats going on. If you message the company through their app, you get a different person each time who also doesnt know whats going on and does not have the ability to thoroughly read the messages you send. I cannot tell you how many times the info Ive provided was ignored and then asked for over and over again. Besides that, maintenance is so hard to schedule and you are required to let the maintenance people into your place every time. Of course the only hours they can come is between 7-5pm within a 5 hour window. For people who work 8-5 everyday weekday that is impossible to be available for unless you take time off. I guess I should have expected this as our application process was also a mess. I had applied for a townhome unit, and was left waiting on Mynd to complete their portion of the application process for more than a week. During this time, someone else had both applied and been approved for that unit all while I was left waiting. I literally had to reach back out to Mynd to remind them that I was waiting. Thankfully there was another unit that was also available, but I just felt like I had to hold their hand and lead them through the process so I didnt get forgotten about. Nevermind the fact that we didnt even have a kitchen sink the first week of our lease.

I would never rent from this company. I truly dont know where to begin. We rented from them for nearly 2.5 years. Out of that time there was at least a year that we were not able to use the entire back yard because of a tree that had partially fallen and they would not come get up. It posed a large danger to our kids and they still took over a year probably. Getting any repairs done was an absolute nightmare. They took days to send someone out to the residence. Communication was absolutely horrendous. I pointed out numerous issues during our move in process that were never fixed, which as nails coming out of the back deck, lumber and debris on the side of the yard that wasnt removed. Now we are being charged for that to be removed along with other things that were damaged or inoperable upon us moving in. Its awful knowing they treat people this way. Never again.
