Small but excellent exhibitions. I got stuck in town with no plans on a rainy day and am so happy to have found this museum. It currently has a fascinating exhibit of textiles from around the world that I found particularly beautiful. It's a great way to spend a little time and free entry.

Beautiful grounds, small museum with rotating temporary exhibits and permanent displays. As they switch out the temporary exhibit section often, revisiting this museum remains interesting, ensuring you won't get bored. Plus entry is free and staff are helpful overall a worthwhile visit in the NC state area.
