A gem of a shop containing beautiful art work! The owner, Robin, welcomed my son and I with open arms and helped us create the perfect Veteran's Day gift. Stop in and check out some of the amazing pieces!

I wish I could give this zero stars. Robin, the owner and artist, did an acceptable job for me in the past with abstract acrylic art; however, I commissioned a more formal painting from her and the outcome as well as the customer service along the way was beyond unacceptable. The finished painting looked like it was painted by a child, not a talented one. Originally, I sent Robin a photo of a painting and asked if she could paint something very similar to it. She assured me that she could, no problem. The final painting was so amateurish that my interior designer, knowing how much I committed to pay for it, was hesitant to give me her honest opinion. Hey honest opinion was that the painting looked like a school art project. Throughout the process, as Robin was making the painting, I tried to communicate to her that this was not looking at all like the example painting or even close to what I asked for. My designer even called her to try to explain what we were looking for. Robin was rude, defensive and argumentative towards both of us. I should have known I was in trouble when Robin suggested putting sand on a formal painting. Very frustrated and disappointed, I still actually paid the balance on the painting. My bad. Why? First, I keep my word. Second, I felt sorry for an obviously struggling business owner/artist and was trying to help her out (which was in part why I thought of using her). My bad. Third, I hoped that when I had the energy to deal with Robins abrasive personality again, she would do the right thing and fix the painting. My bad. The painting was amateurish and so bad that we never hung it. It has been in my garage since I purchased it and next it is going to Goodwill. Paying Robin the final balance (after initially putting down a 50% deposit) was a very expensive mistake on my part. I hope Robin made good use of my hard-earned money. I can only hope that she has learned some better customer service skills. She had ample opportunity to make this right.
