We had a great camping experience at Brunswick Beaches RV Resort. The campground was very well maintained and quiet and the showers, restrooms and laundry facility were extremely clean. We appreciated the ability to fill our propane tank on site.We would certainly return to this campground in the future.

It's set off the road & mostly quiet; good for walking & I've done some bike riding in local neighborhoods. It's only 5mi from Bird's Island which is wonderful for walking. It also makes for a great ride to the beach. I said "mostly quiet." Avoid being near sites #47 (the worst), #43, and #B10. I hear #B10 will be empty on Feb 25. The other two have 5 dogs combined, & can bark for hours; particularly #47, which can also be 11 lish pm or around 3 am. Literally, anytime the two furballs are outside. They're indignant at everything.(Yurtle the Turtle syndrome-they're king if all they see, how dare you enter into their world!) #43 isn't as bad. They're greeting you...a bit loud & shrill side. Last year, one site was worse; and I felt bad reporting it to management; we couldn't walk out our door or be outside at all, ever. The office was super chill, Carol said, "No, don't feel bad about it at all. They sign the same papers you do, & should be responsible for their pets." It affected the neighbors tx of us though. I do know the neighbors close by are a bit weary of the noise as well. If you're working online & have a meeting, or important phone call, you don't want to be close. Aside from those sites, there are some really fantastic dogs here. Not wild about the laundry with required app. It gets frustrating, as does laundry fragrances, pet hair, & tobacco ppl leave behind in appliances. Nice tent area & covered outdoor kitchen with cook tops & sinks. Very nice. Small playground with swings, & volleyball court by the pond. Great staff, (we love the staff) and as already mentioned many times, very clean bathrooms & laundry.

This is our third time to winter here. The staff is great. We like all of the staff very much. Take #2; for second winter here-10. Bathrooms are clean. Grounds are clean & well maintained. We like the location, and being set off the highway, and only 5 miles to the beach. We like it waaaay better than the place in Socaste SC, that we stayed at 2020-21. We like (& appreciate) the many improvements the new ownership has been working on..well, most of the improvements. 1) New appliances in laundry. I appreciate the owner's attempts at improvements here. Their heart was in the right place....I have to say I miss the coin op. The Shinepay app is not great. Thank you office, for providing a phone number. Too bad Shinepay can't include that on their page... 2) The biggest problem is fellow campers and lack of consideration. It's a campground with tight sites. A little consideration for others would be GREATLY appreciated. 3) Barking collars are intended to train a dog on undesirable behavior. They are not evil. Dogs announce to the world that we have entered/exited our unit, if we sit outside, or anyone that walks by gets a triple chorus announcement....not a greeting bark, more like a "how dare you be in our world!" bark. We go to sleep with the beat of dogs barking; we might get woke up at midnight by dogs barking, we regularly wake up in the morning....by dogs barking. The worst was right next to us. Update '24: a bit of the same. We were between 2 sites with a combo of 5 dogs. It is a very dischordant chorus. Plus one neighbor has a loud voice & open door as early as 6:30. Hadn't planned to be awake that early after a night of pounding rain, but, oh well. Thanks for that..more than once...right out our bedroom window... 3) We aren't too wild about our laundry acquiring other people's pet hair, but what is way worse is tobacco in laundry appliances. That is disgusting. If not detected early enough, it means someone has to pay for laundry to go all through again. We also might end up with our clothing smelling like a smokers...yuck! Did I say a little consideration would be greatly appreciated? 4) Smoke outside or inside your own unit, please. I will happily close all of my windows so I can still breathe. Leaving shower rooms, bathrooms, and laundry smelling like cigarettes is NOT appreciated. Leaving butts in the wastbaskets (with paper) is REALLY stupid. There's an ashtray just outside on the corner. A) Some of us have anaphylaxis with smoke; we really can not breathe, and B) we don't like stinking like a smoker, especially in the shower! Please ask yourself, "What kind of neighbor am I?" And humor others by remembering that you are currently living in a campground and that they live here too. Sorry this is long. Thank your neighbors... We're getting ready to roll out, but many thanks to the (As I said) SUPER wonderful staff. it's been great to see you all again. We really, really do enjoy the staff! Did I say we really enjoyed the staff? Thank you, Jacque! Nearby activities: The beach! Lighthouses, kayaks, dolphin tours, kid friendly planetarium. Playground: Swing set, horseshoes Restrooms: Clean Dog-friendliness: Dogs are not in short supply Picnic area: Lots of tables in peaceful locations
