        Fabulous location, house and service. Like many others have said the breakfasts are outstanding too. So glad we stayed here rather than one of the big hotel chains.

        We were delighted to stay at the Verandas for our first time visiting Wilmington! The room was beautiful, like... beyond beautiful. Everything was so clean and refreshing. The breakfast was delicious & served by the nicest girl! We loved how close it was to walk to downtown. Great neighborhood, wonderful hosts. We cant wait to come back

        This hotel is from the 1800s and it's amazing how they restored it. It's pricey but it's worth staying for the experience. Walking distance to everything! I highly recommend you stay the night!

      This period style B&B housed in a grand Victorian Italianate mansion is 2 blocks from the Cape Fear waterfront and a 9-minute walk from Downtown Wilmington.Sophisticated rooms individually styled with antique furnishings all have private bathrooms with soaking tubs and showers, while some have 4-poster beds, decorative fireplaces and plush seating areas.A gourmet breakfast served on antique china is included. Complimentary drinks and snacks are available in the butler's pantry and complimentary wine is served each evening. Guests have use of the mansion's 4 verandas, lounge room and private gardens.
