    My experience with Cam is less than 1 star. I will summarize this as shortly as possible but Cam is dishonest, rude, racist and has terrible ethics. Originally Cam was hired for a hardware fix- the hinge on my laptop was broke. After giving him a $240 deposit, my husband and I made it very clear we were not willing to pay much more, as at that point I would just get a new laptop. He gave us his word and also told us that he would take it home to inspect it further and would not do anything until he called and got out consent. Well he lied. He did not do that. In fact, I did not hear from him for a week and then he called me 5 times in 40 minutes demanding I call him back because of some firmware issue. Mind you, he would not even provide proof of this firmware issue. After I told him my files and data were backed up and I did not want the firmware issue fixed, he told me he already worked on fixing it for 3 hours at his $180 rate for a total of $540, and I needed to pay him- like what?! Unfortunately I was unexpectedly on the road to see my ill father, and requested if he could hold my laptop (not fix it any further) and discuss further when I return in a few days. Cam denied, and demanded that the laptop be dropped off and him get his money that day. Cam told me he would "cut me a deal" and give me my laptop back for $200 more dollars. Mind you I already paid a deposit of $240 for hardware fix, that he later said he could not fix and I could not get my money back. Mind you- his policies state "No fix, No pay" I was already in a flustered state and just wanted my laptop back and agreed to the $200 and had my friend wait at my house to pick it up with the money. My friend knew I was scammed (as the laptop was still broken, i was out $440 at this point) and questioned Cam- and that's when Cam got racist. My friend was so respectful (I have the whole conversation on ring camera) and was just concerned about me not being taken advantage of. The next day once I had calmed down and really thought about the situation, I reached out and asked for my money back. I was denied, and then mass texted even though I asked him to stop. I realize I was scammed and that Cam was a crook. I should have read reviews prior. Let my terrible experience be a warning, do not do business with this man.

    I called in the morning around 10am and scheduled a house call for that same day at 6:30 provided information about the service I needed and my address and I was told he would be there and he only takes cash. So I left work early to get cash and get home in time. I texted him when I got home and then tried calling as well. He never responded to my text and sent my first call directly to voicemail and let the second call ring all the way through. I left him a voicemail as well and still have not heard anything back. If he was busy and needed to reschedule that would have been fine but I got zero communication. I've seen the reviews where he denies all of these claims and says he has amazing customer service and communication skills. I did not receive either of those. One star and would not recommend. Also I provided pictures of the times of texts and calls so he can't deny this one!

Funny, I don’t recall you calling me the other day asking for a price about anything. Moreover, I charge by the hour so I don’t give quotes on the phone other than advising potential clients that I charge by the hour because, I provide a same day “ON-SITE” concierge computer repair service.Secondly, I am a very well spoken person and I am certainly not impolite or rude to anyone that I speak with and, that is especially true for potential clients. My parents raised me properly thank you very much!Thirdly, that would have placed your phone call on Sunday and oddly enough, I didn’t receive a single phone call on Sunday chief so… obviously you are a unethical shady millennial competitor who can’t stand on his own worth and merits and you, evidently have to gain traction for your unethical business by making other legitimate owners out to be unethical and of undesirable character and behavior.Don’t believe this review anyone I have been in business in Wilmington for the past 18 years now and you will not hear of me being rude or impolite towards anyone the entire time I have been in business. Ag yes, Jim Daniels.This is the man who had me drive all the way out to his business in Castle Hayne from a clients in Kure Beach who computer shut down while I was working on it and it wouldn’t power back up again. Despite the fact that this man was sitting right next to me watching my every single move, after several attempts of trying to get his computer to power back up again (which it wouldn’t!) he then insisted that I stop and he would pay me for my time and he DELIBERATELY screwed me out of half of my money and basically wasted 2 hours of my time and STOLE from me and here he is playing the victim when he is the the person WHO STOLE FROM ME!Also too Jim, I parked ar the end of your building because Apple Maps said you were right there on the corner of the building!I’m very sorry that Apple Maps was wrong and you were at the other end of the building!You are a real low life you know that Jim!Geez, I wonder why OUT BACK AUTO REPAIR ISNT LISTED ON GOOGLE?You see and view people that way Jim because… YOU ARE THAT WAY JIM!But hey, obviously the guy who knows absolutely nothing about computers is right and the man (that would be me!) who has been working with computers and technology for 42 years now doesn’t know anything and obviously you are right and I , as well as everyone else should listen and take lessons and advice from you!BY THE WAY EVERYONE… I have kept the entire text conversation from this man threatening me for over a hour and me attempting to be diplomatic with him and have a actual conversation on the phone with him because he was completely wrong about what he was saying but, despite me trying numerous times to establish a dialogue with this man, he continued to be abusive with me and threaten me and act like a loose cannon with some deep seated anger issue that he was choosing to take out on me.This man self admittedly told me that his computer is working fine now after it finally powering back up after I cleared the CMOS so , EVIDENTLY, I ended up correcting his problems, his computer works fine now and he is still doing this even after ROBBING ME after I evidently FIXED HIS COMPUTER!What is wrong with you Jim Daniels?I only wish that you had your business listed on google so that I could inform your potential customers what kind of loose canon and deranged psychopath you really are Jim .You have the audacity to publicly slander me after you stole from me because you act and conduct yourself towards others like a irrational loose cannon?OUTBACK AUTO REPAIR 2925 Boundry atWilmington, NC 28405DON’T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN HE IS A LIAR, A CHEAT & A THIEF!
