Dr. Player has been my doctor since 2007. Even though I have moved back to North Myrtle Beach, I continue to travel back to Wilmington to see him. When I first moved to Wilmington, I called this office and told them that I needed to get in with a doctor. She asked me when did I need an appointment. I told her I did not know but that one day I would call and say that I have pneumonia and need to come in. I was placed with another doctor, but fortunately that doctor was unavailable; and I was placed with Dr. Player. He has a very keen sense of humor and asked me how I chose him. Was he the only one that would take my insurance. I said oh no. I have that State of NC health insurance. Everybody likes my insurance. I went in on a Tuesday and looked like death warmed over. When you have had pneumonia as many times as I have, you know when you have it. I told him if he would put me on the right antibiotic that I would respond quickly. He was going out of town for the weekend and did not want to leave until he checked me again. I went back on Thursday; and when he walked in the room, he could not believe the difference. From that day to this, he realizes that I know my body well and listens to what I have to say. He is very thorough and orders blood work when needed and makes sure that all of my vaccinations are current. He is very pleasant, has a good sense of humor and has a good bedside manner. I highly recommend him.

He is acknowledged, very good personality, very nice to talk to him about any questions, in other words i recommend him highly!!!

I have been a patient under Dr. Player's care for the last 10+ years. During that time, we have established a solid trust and a good rapport. He is very knowledgeable, kind, and has a good bedside manner. He even has a sense of humor. He also seems to truly listen to his patients. He has always been approachable and, in my opinion, strives to give the best quality of integrative medical care. I would recommend him as a physician.
