Installed a new water heater at our house after we'd had problems with another vendor. The company was great and the service prompt and courteous. These guys know what they're doing!

In 2021 Parlier replaced our existing tankless water heater with a new one. We had decided to go with their company because of a good experience we previously had with a dishwasher installation. When Parlier performed the annual service on the water heater the following year, we pointed out a problem we were experiencing - the inability to easily get cold water from the faucets. Parlier was unable to diagnose or correct the problem and ultimately suggested it was a house plumbing problem, but had no idea what that problem was. This year we called another company to perform the annual service and hopefully diagnose and finally fix the cold water problem. They immediately identified the cause of the cold water issue - Parlier had capped off the houses dedicated return line that the previous water heater had used, and installed a thermal bypass valve instead. This was done with NO mention by the installer that performance of the new system would be anything less than optimal. So the cold water problem that wed been living with for all this time was clearly a direct result of Parliers improper installation. In addition to the return line issue, Parlier had installed an aluminum catch pan and run the condensate from the new water heater directly into the pan instead of piped to a condensate drain. As the condensate is acidic, it had corroded the aluminum pan and was leaking all around the pans drain. Not being a plumber myself, I didnt realize at the time that these things were improper. But for a licensed plumber there should be no excuse. The new plumber this year was able to get this all corrected and everything working properly - but needless to say, at significant expense to us. I held off posting a review about this until first bringing it to the attention of Parlier (now DiMone-Parlier). So, last month I sent emails with photos clearly depicting the issues to both the manager and the current owner of the company. I had hopes of them taking ownership of the situation, maybe telling me its not typical of their work, and at least acknowledging that it shouldnt have happened. It may have precluded this unfavorable review. But given that its now been a full month since my emails without responding, its evident they have no intention of doing so. Customer satisfaction does not seem to be a top priority of this company.
