Street Sounds

Went in for radio for my F150 about 3 months prior to this post. Chose radio, but ordered dash kit from online, and was told by Jackie and the older white guy that I did not need to order the module (even though the kit said it was required to maintain the steering wheel controls and to make the kit work) because they had compatible modules in stock. I double and triple checked, and they assured me I did not need to order this module. Jackie gave me the price, I paid a down payment, and returned with my kit for install. This day, Al (owner) was there, and said the install would be $300 MORE than what I was told by Jackie "because of the vehicle" - the same vehicle I was already quoted for. I said whatever, and told them to go ahead. After maybe 3-4 hours, I was told "You need a module" - the thing THEY said that I did not need. Theirs would not work for this dash kit... I decided to send my ordered kit back, and order everything thorough Street Sounds so they would be liable for anymore screw-ups. They left my radio in floor of passenger side, and dash disassembled, until I went back when they had the kit, and finally an installer on site... Got install, realized next day steering wheel controls did not work. Went back, told them; 1 installer says "I remember we bypassed that", but the installer whom I told I SPECIFICALLY wanted to maintain this, said nothing. After maybe 2 hours, owner's 16-year old kid tells me "We can't get it to work and there's no solution for it". Also heard him tell the older white guy not to tell customers what they are not able to do, just let him make the sale and they'll figure the rest out later - so apparently the dishonest 16-year-old runs things when the owner's away... I deal with it for a while, then call back looking for owner, who was only available on the day he told me $300 MORE BECAUSE OF YOUR VEHICLE. Couldn't talk to the 16-year-old because he hadn't got off the bus yet, so I tell Jackie that I paid for a service they promised but didn't do, and I would like them to either do it or partially refund me. She said she'd call me back later after talking to installer. 2 weeks later after not hearing from Jackie, I call back, and Jackie picks up again, and I voice the same complaints. Owner STILL isn't around, owner's kid still on bus I guess. She said she'd call me back in a few hours after trying to reach the owner. That was at least a week ago... I will NEVER spend money at this place again, and the same installers work at both Wilson and Greenville location, FYI. Considering calling one more time, or just reporting to BBB.

Dont shop here.. I came here from out of town on 3 different occasions & they couldnt get it right & then tell me to come back again.. I spent $1043.00 & I asked for a simple written receipt for the money spent & they wouldnt do that.. I dont trust the work so now I have to go somewhere else & spend money to get it done right.. I dont recommend
