Two years in a row forgets my daughter for summer school. Also this past school yr. 22-23 was first yr we hadnt had a bus issue for regular school yr. Usually no bus drivers. But Im seeing Wilson has several Principal, teacher, administration and bus drivers need. Says a lot about Wilson School District. So far worst school system ever Ive dealt with. Indiana never an issue and Rhode Island nope just Wilson, NC.

Very rude, nasty, and petty staff. The school buses are so out of date, but yet they express that they provide safe and efficient transportation for students. How can you provide safe transportation for students when you have out dated buses with no A/C and then the buses that do have A/C most are broke down and they dont fix them with urgency leaving your kids on the bus with 115F(+) temperatures for months, if not the whole school year. Pay is not worth it at all. You would think that the drivers would make at least $15.00+/hr but sadly not the case. School administrators are rude when you arrive a little late even when you are subbing for a driver thats out and even when you try to explain that you are a sub they still are nasty. Route sheets are inaccurate also. You have to edit and fix your own route sheet when it is something that the bus garage is suppose to do. I highly reccomend sending your students to Private or Charter in Wilson. Unprofessional staff in every area.
