I've lived here almost 17 years, but am joining the 5% who have been leaving each year for the past 5 years. The Cass Co. area is nothing more now than a place for career criminals committing crimes on law-abiding citizens, where law enforcement does nothing. I remember the years when Fargo metro was safe; when Fargo officials and LE were proud to provide a safe place to live. Now, law enforcement won't even view video of a theft of a citizen, even when the retailer gladly offers it. I am now a victim of related crimes of that theft, all because law enforcement refused to review the retailers video. This, on top of ND's AG refusing to enforce tenant's rights when I had 5 landlords sell my home in the middle of my lease in 2015, and doubling home prices/rents in the past 3 years, and I can certainly understand why ND now has a solid outmigration of 5% to 6% each year. Good luck ND communities, if voters vote out property taxes, as your continued LE/housing choices that are forcing workers out-of-state, may mean you may soon have funding concerns. It has been your choice "not" to take care of law-abiding victims of crime, and to let speculators and home flippers be a large % of people to buy homes in the Fargo Metro. It seems to me that the Fargo Metro area needs to start taking care of workers in the area, who need a safe community to live in, and affordable housing. Before 2017, Fargo Metro used to have it all.

At Express Employment Professionals we've been a Chamber member since 1999, and over the last 18 years we have enjoyed our partnership with them. The events they host in our community are vital networking opportunities and when combined with the other resources and learning events, make it a no-brainer to continue our membership. We truly have a great group of people looking out for local businesses.
