I fought long and hard for my Disability. I applied 3 times, even tried it having a lawyer, even having to collect all my hospital documents! I collected all information and everything I could do. They should have been doing that but I wanted everything to be available for disability. My parents, and family drowned in debt trying to help me live and pat my bills. My aneurysm dissection from my heart to my groin was in 2003 one aneurysm repair in 2013 causing two ribs at a place that cant be fixed because doctors ignored my pain, and what I was saying. then one in 2015. That one a surgeon blocked an artery, and attached it to my kidney artery causing horrible bowl pains, because he thought hed use me for a guinea pig! I suffered anxiety, depression, fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, degenerative, back disorder, gout, and suicide attempt. I will live in pain all my life. But I had to keep working to live! I believe that just made the aneurysms, get larger and larger from lifting at work curing kids etc. The more I physically did, and my blood pressure out of control, and my genetic disorder with my aorta just kept getting worse every year. Altru 10 years of CT scans to keep a watch on a aneurysm in 2004 that was 3.2. 15+ CT scans, and they couldnt red flag. The fact that it reached a 6.8. Ask about a malpractice suit but of course, they said I didnt die so I couldnt file a malpractice suit. Three years into my last fight for disability with my lawyer went on for 3+ years. I ran errands I sent things I called week after week did everything I could possibly do. Updated all my problems with my medical issues in the 3rd decision was denied, so I went in by myself to Grand Forks office and applied for disability and in 3 to 4 months it was approved. So really I got ripped off 3+ years backpay that I could use to pay my family back and put some security in my life I still have the anger I feel it wasnt fair , but Im just me I cant do nothing about it. I help a friend. I help make an appointment he blows it off! A year later I once again help to make another appointment because he blew the last one off. He finally made it to this on. Got approved in 2-3 months, and they went all the way back to the appointment he blew off! I believe it was $125.000 and now uses it for his meth and alcohol habit. The people that fight so hard, and need the disability and use it wisely have to fight till theyre mentally ill. I was totally robbed 3+ years of my backpay, theres not a darn thing I can do about it. Its not fair something needs to change the government is so messed up, Im glad I finally got accepted but all that backpay money I couldve paid my family back and possibly try to put something down on a house or a trailer for a secure place to live. But Im just a person with bad luck. It makes me cry talking about it till this day. I believe my health has declined from all the fighting I had to do to get the help I needed! As of now in 2023. I have another aneurysm that might not be able to be fixed because a doctor did a sloppy job on my last surgery but I have to live with that too , theres nothing I can do, life just not been fair! And people wonder why people get suicidal when they have nothing, and theyre fighting just to live and stay alive! That was an horrible thing that Social Security, or whoever pulled on me. I get denied 3 to 4 years of backpay. Loss all that money that could of greatly helped me. I go in there by myself apply in just a few months later, I am approved! I got ripped off, a little by many government programs, Doctors, Altru and etc. Now I have an aneurysm it most likely cant be repaired. So my outcome is just sitting here in my apartment all alone, scared to death, waiting and worrying until it explodes, and I bleed to death inside.! it sure would be nice if some higher up person with a heart would fix what I send and was entitled to back then. Im sure all my records are there! God Bless the people that did try help me! I pray other people in my situation have better luck.
