The Plaza Apartment Homes

The apartments were super nice and the staff very friendly! They've definitely worked with Military members before so they're very accommodating. There's a bar, restaurant, and mall all within stumbling distance. There's also an indoor trash shoot so you don't have to walk outside in the winter. If I ever move back I'd live here again.

Apartment living is what it is but for the most part we have have been satisfied at the Plaza. Caela Donavan has been excellent to address our concerns and the our repair requests have been handled in a timely manner.

We where told today that in 2 weeks we would no longer be able to use our parking spaces for storage. When we moved lots of the spaces have storage boxes against the wall and we where never told that this was a problem. The reason given to us was obviously a lie. They said they cant clean the parking spot if you have boxes lined against the wall.but apparently if you have a car parked in your spot that doesnt prevent cleaning. And why would you need to clean the spot underneath a box, nothing is getting dirty underneath a box. This is just a way to suddenly raise rents 50$ a month. Update: I asked the leasing office to show us specifically where in the lease it allows them to add a 50$ fee to our monthly rent. We were told that they can add any fee at any time for any reason they want to. There was not even an attempt to justify this legally. So unless we hire a lawyer and fight this in court we just got our rent raised with only a 2 week warning. Update again: In the response to my review they cite that this is a fire safety issue. Obviously this is a lie because they notified us that for an extra 50$ monthly fee we could keep our storage in our parking space. If it is actually a fire safety issue than how bad is this apartment complex that they would allow fire safety issues to persist if they can charge us extra fee to allow it. Also before this response now in all the emails provided for why this policy was going into effect fire safety has never been mentioned until now. They cant their stories straight. Update: Automatic email asked me to leave a review. There is a gym but it has several broken equipment. The equipment could be easily fixed with a 20$ pin but no one in management cares. Also, the TVs in the gym are not set right but again no one in management cares to fix the TV settings.

Awesome place to live! So sad to leave! Quiet, clean, heated parking and wonderful property manager!
