Candlewood Suites Minot, an IHG Hotel

Entire hotel and room smelled like Marijuana smoke that was trying to be covered up with air freshener. Mattress had a plastic cover under the sheet which sounded like you were laying on a bag of potatoe chips. Mattress was damaged and leaned about 20 degrees down on one side. Cleaning of the room was less than adequate and the TV was like the first version of flat screens ever made. Wifi did not work at all. Overall, a horrible experience.

Not a place to stay during any of the winter months in ND. They dont seem to ever do snow removal, even when the storm has passed. Can hardly drive through the parking lot and almost all of the parking spots are snow banks. Barely any staff available as well. Theres a sign that says dial 0 for staff but nobody answers or comes. Furniture is very worn down.

This is the nicest motel I've stayed at. The staff is great! Always happy to help. Andrew was there within 5 minutes when my other motel flooded and made sure we had a place to stay and a way to get our stuff over. They have everything you could need for extended stays. Rooms: Clean and stocked with dishes. Safety: Andrew keeps his property very safe. Walkability: Across from Walmart and lots of different food places. Food & drinks: They have a room with plenty of supplies.

They have people that the managers catch smoking in the hallways and stairs and they just talk to them. They refuse to kick them out like their policies say. They said,well we keep them on the 4th floor. The whole hotel smells like an ash tray.

Stained sheets and stained towels. Dirty walls in bathroom. Bed also not comfortable. Otherwise check in went smoothly.
