Good location to highways, good rooms, very clean, elevator a little rocky, so we used the stairs, which we weren't very close to.

We stayed when visiting Akron during the solar eclipse. The hotel had food trucks and a DJ for guests who were in town for the eclipse, and complementary viewing glasses. Shirley was working the front desk most of our stay, customer service was ABOVE and BEYOND, she started with a warm greeting and a snack for our little one, and within moments we felt at home. I actually briefly lost my wedding ring and after realizing it fell in the pool Shirley got it out and returned the ring. I wish every hotel stay of ours felt like this did. The eclipse was amazing and the hotel stay made the experience that much better. Beyond the specifics of our stay, the hotel was clean, modern and well staffed. Ive stayed in many hotels traveling for work, many of which would be considered luxury, and Im being 100% honest when I give the Comfort Inn in Akron 5 stars.

Even though I have family in Akron and Kent, I come here when I visit Akron. The room is clean. The king bed is comfy. The breakfast is good! There is a great selection of what is offered during breakfast.
