The Canton Team at CrossCountry Mortgage, LLC

This company has terrible communication that is totally unprofessional. They constantly pass the buck from one department to another without any knowledge of said department(s). They cannot plainly explain their policies to their customers and waste precious time with flimsy excuses. They also do not accommodate disabled customers, even when asked several times. I was recommended this company by my realtor, but I would not recommend it to anyone.

In early December I received a letter for a trial period to complete before a loan modification would be granted. I completed the period early. I have documented every payment. I was told to wait 30 days for the new loan documents to be sent. I have informed delivery on and the documents were never sent. I confirmed this with their rep Sebastian. I asked for the tracking number or proof of sending them certified, and he agreed there was none. I was sent to foreclosure in mid April for 'not having the documents notarized and returned. I call every 3 days for an update and am transferred without any resolution.

My bank was bought out by another bank and I had to change my payment information for my mortgage. I tried getting a hold of people multiple times calling the corporate number and I received people that could not help me and would not give me a number or transfer me to anyone that could. They told me that they would have somebody call me back and then they never call. And the people that I could get a hold of were very rude and had a lack of knowledge very difficult and unprofessional. I tried emailing and did not receive a response until multiple tries. Poor communication and professionalism. They just ignore you. More frustrating and angering than words can say

Had two wonderful experiences with Chuck Motz, first on our initial home purchase, then again five years later for a 203K refi. He was extremely helpful and went above and beyond both times we came in. I highly recommend him to anyone super nervous about the home buying process.
