        Outstanding Program! The instructors go well above and beyond to make sure everyone is up to speed and understand. The career services are very engaged and work extremely hard to get the students ready for their next career. I Highly recommend any one look to learn object-oriented programming or needing a refresher to take a look at WCCI!

        This is not a beginner-friendly course I was told. The instructors expect you to know all the terms and jargon of Java from day one and don't explain properly how to do any of it. If you can't keep up they will just tell you to sit there and listen and keep going instead of teaching you. You would be better off self-studying on YouTube. It's essentially the same. It's a waste of money to go here. I wanted a teacher, to teach me how to code. not a lecturer who speeds thru everything with out explaining anything. This is more of a self-learning school with. Topics are gone over fast once and you better be able to type really fast and even if you raise your hand in class chances are they ignore it. The VA should not work with this school. It's a joke of a teaching establishment that leaves behind anyone who wants help. Horrible school

        We Can Code It is a great program. I wanted to completely change careers and the full stack java part time course allowed me to be able to maintain a work and school balance. While the course work was challenging the instructors took the time to be there and help with any issues we had. The class structure was fast paced and engaging. Our instructor, Cliff, worked to tailor the course to our needs depending on where the class needed more work as a whole. I cannot recommend this boot camp enough.

      Hi Deangelo,It's Mel McGee, founder and CEO, responding directly to you here.Many members of We Can Code IT have tried to reach out to you during bootcamp and recently. We really want to help as this review is a shock to the whole team. We care about each one of our students, so we're trying to help. As we've tried multiple ways to reach you without success, my hope is to help you and others who might be curious about WCCI through this response..1) You are correct, our Java coding bootcamp isn't for someone who hasn't at least tried out programming first. We test all of our applicants on computer proficiency, as well as ask everyone about their experience to ensure we're meeting students where they are. If the bootcamp isn't the right fit, we offer foundational classes to students. I want to offer this to you to help you out. Please let me know.2) You were not charged for any program. This is standard for us while students are in the first couple days of one of our bootcamps. 3) We do not say to Google everything. We do want you to know how to use search to help solve problems. I don't know a single programmer who doesn't use search in such a way. Learning how to search and disseminate information correctly is a big deal, so yes, we teach it. It's very different though than being left to your own devices. Our team offers 1 on 1 and group tutoring regularly, and we use chat systems that professionals use (Slack) for near real-time communication.I am very sorry that you felt, after a half day orientation, and day and a half in class, that is was a horrible fit for you. I wish you would have brought this up when the education lead(s) reached out to you on Slack to see how you were doing, or when you had the opportunity to fill out the forms during that time.Please feel free to contact any one of the team who have left you messages.
